The present study aimed to investigate intergenerational pedagogical practices in universities. A scoping review was conducted using the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) Evidence Synthesis methodology. The SCOPUS, ERIC, and Web of Science databases were used, using a search strategy with standardized terms from the ERIC thesaurus and keywords from articles on the subject. A total of 529 studies were identified in the databases, of which 23 articles were eligible for the research. It is concluded that intergenerationality in higher education expands opportunities for lifelong learning, contributes to the construction of a humanized, democratic, and transformative university, and reduces stereotypes related to human aging.
